ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Michaela Childs!

 

I am a student at Oklahoma City University set to graduate in Spring of 2024. I am currently studying Mass Communication with a track in Multimedia Journalism and Broadcast Production. Additionally, I am double-minoring in both English and Spanish.

I have been trained in various skills throughout my schooling. I have also expanded my media skills through my part-time internship that I have worked the last two years. In this internship, I have done various photography projects and learned how to effectively navigate the Adobe Creative Cloud. Through my education, I have learned skills associated with multimedia news gathering,  television broadcast, and print journalism just to name a few. I have also taken select courses related to the social media management world.

Overall, I am a multifaceted creative open to learning more in the journalism and media world!
